GARDENING WORKSHOP
“The Worm turns with Healthy Gardening”
A gardening workshop on organic gardening promoting healthy eating and living being presented by Leonie Shanahan. Leonie is the founder of “Edible School Gardens Programs” which supports 20 schools on the Sunshine Coast and has written a book on “Edible Gardens”.
 
Come along for an information packed day and learn about all areas vital to organic gardening, composting, worm systems, seed saving, mulch and even uses for cane toads!!

When :  Tuesday 31st May 2011   9.00 a.m to 3.00 p.m
Where:   CWA Hall,  Clematis Street, Blackall for morning session then visit Jim and Jill Taylor’s garden in 14 Beford Street for Lunch and a practical demonstration on compost making and no dig gardening.
Cost: $25.00 includes workshop, morning tea, lunch and a sample bag.
