DIG IT:  Popular garden show host and permaculture guru Costa Georgiadis loved the Yandina Community Gardens, which are full of herbs and vegies.

Gardening guru Costa Georgiadis on Coast

POPULAR SBS gardening personality Costa Georgiadis will be special guest at National Permaculture Day  celebrations at the Yandina Community Garden today.
Costa (pictured) was invited to the celebrations by permaculturalist and edible school gardens proponent Leonie Shanahan.

Visitors to the garden will be able to chat with Costa, tour the gardens, and sit in on workshops on pizza cob ovens, aquaponics, sub-tropical plants and backyard chooks.

Gates open at 9.30am. Admissions is $10 adults, children under 15 free, and $15 a family.

While on the Coast, Costa will also visit Cooran and Eumundi Stae Schools and our lady of the Rosary Catholic school at Caloundra.
