Gosford and Newcastle Permaculture Groups

I loved my time in NSW, I must confess itsa state Ihaven’t seen a lot of, so getting the train from Sydneyto Gosford then onto Newcastle was an unexpectedtreat.   I spoke to the different permaculture groupsabout my Edible School Gardens program and gave different schoolssome advise of getting there programs progressing.  I lovevisiting other groups and schools as its an opportunity for me tolearn from them as well.  

I also visited Central Coast Post School Options, and we callour cottage and enterprise there “Common Ground”.  Kerri and Steve are running some terrific programs there they provide highquality, individualisedsupport to people with disabilities and their families to enablethem to develop vocational, personal and social skills that willassist them to work and participate in the wider community.  The gardens,shadehouse,artwork,eating area and kitchen were a credit to the dedicationof theteam.
