Casual Teacher – Gardening

Do you enjoy gardening and working with primary school aged children?


Edible School Gardens is a leader in organic gardening programs for schools. We are seeking an enthusiastic gardener who relates well with children, is hard working and organised, to teach strict organic gardening practices in primary schools.

The successful candidate will be based on the Sunshine Coast (Qld.) for 1-2 days per week during school terms at assigned schools and ideally be flexible to provide back up support at other schools as required. This casual position and preference will be given to candidates who commit to the successful completion of each to ensure continuity.

•     Immediate start
•     Extensive knowledge and experience in organic gardening/permaculture
•     Excellent teaching skills (formal teacher training preferred)
•     Current drivers licence and own vehicle
•     Blue card (Working with Children Check)
